Random ?

Sometimes a girl needs to run. Sometimes a girl needs to fight. Sometimes... A girl just needs you. Abbey skidded off the roof, realizing all to late that she couldn't catch herself . The ground came rushing up at her, the three stories from the roof to New York alley suddenly didn't feel so far apart. But right as she clenched her eyes together and steeled herself for the impact it didn't come. Instead she found herself craddled in exceptionally strong arms. She opened one eye and looked up at her savior, a rueful grin finding itself onto her face. Casamir Ivashkov didn't change his expression, he just looked cool and indifferently at her. "You aren't ready to be out here alone, Abbey." He spoke to her formally, finally a small frown making it's way to his lips, puckering his forehead. Abbey sighed impatiently as he made to set her down on her feet, right as a howl split the air. Abbey hissed and backed up against the wall, her nails hooking and becoming claws. Casamir shook his head and lightly but firmly grabbed her wrist, pulling her down the alley towards the busy streets. "You've made yourself known. They're just making it clear they see us." He looked coldly towards the tops of the buildings, his cold and intelligent blue eyes scanning for invisible shapes. Abbey shivered and found herself pressing closer to his side. He looked down in suprise, but just wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kept them moving.
